See the reef in a different light. As an introduction to underwater nightlife, the Night Specialty course covers techniques for communication and navigation in limited visibility.
You will learn about special procedures and equipment necessary for planning and running night dives. SSIÂ Night & Limited Visibility Specialty will give you confidence in diving in the dark.
During two night dives, you’ll practice:
- Light handling and communication techniques.
- Entering, exiting, neutral buoyancy skills and navigating in the dark.
- Lost buddy procedures.Â
- Identifying how plants and animals differ or change behavior at night.
Prerequisites
- One day guided diving with Camel before start
- SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent.
